Our Salon Rules & Safety Commitment in Winterswijk
We are committed to providing a safe, responsible, and high-quality experience for every guest at our nail studio in Winterswijk. We follow strict hygiene and safety guidelines, ensuring all pedicure treatments and nail services meet the standards required in the Netherlands and the European Union.
For safety reasons, we do not accept clients under the age of 16 for treatments such as nail extensions, gelnagels, or other services that may pose health risks to younger clients. Your well-being always comes first.
We aim to stay perfectly on schedule, but small delays may occasionally happen due to unexpected circumstances or because your treatment requires extra time to be completed safely and correctly. Quality and care always come before rushing.
If you request a service that could harm your nails or affect your health, we may decline to perform it and recommend a safer alternative. Our goal is to provide a clean, trustworthy, and comfortable environment where beauty never compromises safety.
We Do NOT Use
Your well-being always comes first. Because of this, we do not use any products or ingredients that are banned or restricted in the Netherlands or the EU. This includes the following substances:
- Trimethylbenzoyl Diphenylphosphine Oxide (TPO) Banned in all EU cosmetic products — including gel nail systems — from 1 September 2025.
- N,N-Dimethyl-p-toluidine (DMPT / Dimethyltolylamine) also banned in the EU from 1 September 2025.
- Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP) prohibited in EU cosmetics due to reproductive toxicity concerns.
- Other regulated or hazardous solvents, including:
- Toluene
- Xylene
- Formaldehyde
- Methyl Methacrylate (MMA) — banned in many countries, heavily restricted in the EU
- Ethyl Methacrylate (EMA) — allowed but regulated
- High-VOC solvents under general EU restrictions
